i wish after september 11th my country had used this event to stop and reflect on why people are so angry with the us. could it be that the rest of the world would like to see the us be more respectful of every nation in terms of their rights, resources and sovereignty?a little reflection might have created a new future for us all. instead it was the excuse our government needed to start dropping bombs on a country that had nothing to do with al-quaida's attacks on the pentagon and trade center. an unfortunate and predicatble consequence is the maiming and ****ing of innocent children and people, beheadings of innocents, and an enraged country wantingly attacked under the guise of fighting terrorism. now our bush government has what it wanted: a war on terror in iraq that will likely perpetuate the affliction of the innocent. i am not hopeful for anyone's children...
